Morehead Old Time Music Festival - Workshops

On Saturday

11:30 a.m. - 12:25 p.m. : Beginner youth dulcimer workshop
12:30 p.m. - 1:25 p.m. : Beginner adult dulcimer workshop

The Morehead Mountain Strings Dulcimer Club will provide instruction from well known Eastern Kentucky dulcimer teachers Betty Sharp, and Patty Mains. Traditional music and loaned instruments will be provided. No prior experience is necessary. Welcome beginners and and anyone looking to get a start on this instrument. After the work shops the club's dulcimers will be available for contest participants.
