Presented by the Morehead Old Time Music Association, the convention will feature solo banjo and fiddle contests with cash prizes. Various workshops and family activities are scheduled to take place throughout the weekend.

Located on a 70+ acre farm owned by the Daniel Boone Jaycees about a mile east of downtown Morehead, the Morehead Old Time Fiddlers Convention will be a unique display of the diverse culture in this region of the southern Appalachians. So come celebrate Old Time music in the heart of the Daniel Boone National Forest and don't forget your instruments because there will be a lot of jamming.
