Selecting Text
Text can be selected and then manipulated (cut, copy, and paste).
Selecting text helps us to edit word processing documents, spread sheets, and more.
There are a couple of ways to select text; via keyboard, via mouse.
First, keyboard method.
Use the keyboard cursor arrows to navigate your blinking cursor to beginning point of the text to be selected. Once there, hold down the Shift key on the keyboard continuously, while using the arrow keys to move the blinking cursor to the end of the text to be selected. Once all the text is high-lighted, you can release the Shift key.
Secondly, mouse method.
Move the mouse cursor to just before the beginning of the text to be selected. Hold down the left mouse button continuously, while moving the mouse cursor to the end of the text to be selected. Once all the text is high-lighted, you can release the left mouse button.
Now that you have your text selected you are able to copy or cut it.
